There may have been no knockdowns but that is one of the greatest HW fights you will ever see.

The fight could have gone either way, Tua or Ike....

Damn I love it when you post Toney
Yes, I have heard it was the best fight of the year, a real classic. I never got too see it though Had to go to the damn hospital. That was the worst day of my life.

hy Toney I might be able to get it to you. I had the fight on tape but alas me being so nice I lent it to someone who keeps promising to return it but I have not seen him yet. ANyway if I get it I can probably take my VCR run it through my video card and convert it to a ******* or mpeg or whatever format. I would be willing to do it as I have tons of fights In VHS format.

He would have done a good job against anyone the division had to offer for the exception of Mike Tyson.

Tyson would have ****d him in that ring, using only his fists.

Ike had power, but Tyson's power is too overwhelming for any chin.

i don't now about that, he took the best of what a prime tua had to offer, and that included some of those left hooks.

It's been quite a while since I saw that fight, but it seemed to me at the time that Tua couldn't land his best hooks on Ike. I can't remember what it was, whether it being because Tua had to reach around Ike's guard, or because most of them were partially blocked, I really can't remember but I was frustrated as hell for Tua because I was a fan of his.

I will tell you what, Tua never looked better than this fight...there were a few times he doubled up with the left hook...

Ike was crushed with a few huge left hooks that no one could have taken and he ate them up...when I think of Tua not landing or throwing his left hook I think of fights like the Byrd fight.

Ike would have not only broken Mike Tyson in half....he'd have that bully quaking in his boots before they even got started.
Tyson would then have his fears confirmed.

I'm speaking of the post-prison Mike Tyson...the one who could have fought Ike had Ike stayed straight.

                    How would have destroyed Tyson?
What makes you come to this conclusion?

When Tyson unfies the division, I want you to give him his props, because now you're just hating.

If this is fight is in 1996 Tyson would have murdered either Tua or Ibeabuchi. Tyson murdered Bruno. Bruno is as big of puncher if not bigger puncher than either Ibeabuchi or Tua. Only person who could beat Tyson in 1996 is Evander Holyfield. If Tua and Ibeabuchi were so great how come Tyson had the WBA and WBC and Michael Moore had the IBF.
