    Ike Ibeabuchi

Hey if any of you out there Remember Ike The president Ibeabuchi then here is a question for you. If Ike had not gone to jail do you all think he would have cleaned out the division? Do you think that he would have been able to beat Lennox Lewis?

I personally feel he was the future of the Division at least for a few years. He was already 28 I think so he wouldnt have reigned for long but he would have probably beat all of the bleak fighters out there now

I think he would have beaten all of them except for Lewis. If I remember correctly the Ring magazine had David Tua winning there fight......interesting.
    Later brother brologs.

It is funny the cycles that the message board goes through. Every couple weeks there is a thread started about Ike. Then a couple weeks will go by and there will be another thread started about Naz coming back. Then a couple weeks will go by and somebody will start a thread about Lewis. Then the cycle starts again. Life is cyclical.

I don't think he would have cleaned out the division, but I'll bet he would have given us some pretty good fights lol
        Shame what happened to him...

He, as a fighter, was the cure for the ailing heavyweight division.
A physically gifted heavy, who was adding to an already sound technical base.
He could punch with both hands (though not the destroyer some mistook him for being)....& threw combos off of a very good jab.
He didn't get frustrated, & appeared to be made of iron.

He became better because of the Tua fight, while Tua became worse.

But....it's all moot. Moot because we all know the biggest part of a fighter's game is his mental makeup. Ike had the mental makeup to be great inside the ring, but his makeup outside of the ring was bound to ruin him.

I don't think he beat Tua. I clearly had Tua winning that fight.

Your right ToneyT but remember this...Ike was like 12-0 when he fought Tua and David was 29-0 and very seasoned...the Tua that Ike fought was the best Tua we had ever seen...Ike in a way ruined Tua...David was never the same after his war with Ike...

There may have been no knockdowns but that is one of the greatest HW fights you will ever see.

The fight could have gone either way, Tua or Ike....

Damn I love it when you post Toney
