  • Let me get this straight...so if you're a Broner fan than that means you HAVE to stick up for him in this scenario as well ? Because those are the only people I see that are sticking up for the guy . Makes you wonder....

Broner's shoulder roll doesn't scare her.

Why, what does anything he's been accused of have to do with boxing? People can be fans of the fighter but not the person. I don't like his gimmick, I don't like the accusations. But I'm a boxing fan and love the way this kid fights. What he does outside of boxing doesn't affect me and isn't my concern as a BOXING fan.

excellent post. we dont know what any of these dudes do outside of the ring. so why act like we do and then be shocked when we fight out they like cross dressing, or snorting coke, or beating women, or robbing banks?

Personally as a boxing Fan... i wish that trash like him didnt rep the sport of Boxing. It gets enough black eye's as it is with corrupt commissions judges and promoters. Adding in people who have the mentality to brutally punch an old lady (being a Boxer) in the face and stealing her hard earned money is not good for Boxing. Or any sport for that matter. It wasn't like he stole a bag of chips because he was hungry. He punched a old woman...in her face. So it does have something to do with Boxing.

While I ascribe Broner no guilt based on an accusation, what you've said in bold is a cop-out to be honest.

Sport is as much about character as it is physical motion and a line has to be drawn somewhere with regards a participant's criminal conduct outside of the ring.

                  • There's too many questions still.

                    The charges were dropped........why?

Was it broner or his friend that hit the lady.........it does matter.

People talking crap but don't know what really happened and who did it......the charges were dropped which could mean multiple things. I just don't know how people can bash when they don't know.......

oh please. sport is about sport. as long as he isnt in jail, and as long as this is behind him, whatever may have happened years ago has no bearing on what he can achieve as an athlete. none whatsoever. can ppl choose not to like him? sure, thats totally their fight. but does this somehow mean he cant achieve great things? not at all. everyone has a past. if our lives stop as soon as we do something de****able then there wouldnt be millions of ppl left on this planet. the object is not to excuse your actions but to learn from them and move past them the best way you know how. so no, sport is about sport. ppl like u who make it about more are fooling themselves. and thats whats wrong with this world today. to many ppl worshipping ppl who are in reality no more or less perfect than themselves just because they are tremendous athletes, actors or whatever.
