Direll got jabbed, somehow went down, and then Abe was in the process of throwing a punch before the ref even could say anything. It is not his job to check if Dirells glove touched the canvas, its the refs job to make sure he gives warning the second it happens, and not yell stop when you are in the process of throwing.

The thing is Dirrel is allways going ****ing down he did it earlier in the fight and i swear i was like WTF there was no contact!! he was just in the corner and wanted an easy way out

Im a bit pissed fight was really good too, Dirrel boxed good for 7-8 rounds then AA came on real ****ing strong i think he could have got a KO. If not for some dodgy reffing. there was too much of a gap between when dirrell went down and aa threw his punch for me ... i aint jumping on the bandwagon, but i think the dq was justifiable. this was a fight that dre was clearly winning and because of that heavy punch which landed while he was down it woulda clearly effected him with what time was left. aa woulda certainly stopped him after that with the aide of that illegal punch. dre deserved the win imo and aa more then rightfully deserved to be dq'd

maybe in the future aa will not show that kinda fustration or not put himself in the postion to become that fustrated that he needed to resort to that kinda tactic or a kayo to win ... cause he being schooled, tho dirrell was being broken down late. shame we'll never now kno what woudla happened

watch the f ing fight again. he was down 4 more than a second. on his glove and his knee. abraham was frustrated and threw a late punch an got what he deserved. i sat with allen green the entire fight and even he said that was late as hell.
