Don't you think that the best way to criticize boxer is to say that all of his opponents were bums or show bad "performance"? Obviously if you beaten up only bad performing boxers you are not much better than they are.

In this article atlas praises wlad & all you who don't like atlas should use better reading comprehension...he clearly states wlad wins the mental part of the fight before the bell rings.he SCARES his opponent.the only 3 guys not scared fighting wlad wete peter,Byrd, sanders.he beat 2 of them.he also stated he doesn't think povetkin is ready & feels he doesn't stand much chance yet.when you say he's not just showing up for the payday but to win the fight.atlas is being honest & giving wlad credit for his physical & mental preparation for the fight.they are willing to wait longer & allow a voluntary wlad defence vs haye or someone else.atlas is a realist & obviously cares about povetkin because he gets 10% of sasha's pursue so it's not about the $.he really wants to develops sasha properly & sounds committed for the long haul.

How can you prove that "because he gets 10% of Sasha's purse, it's not about the dollars".... when you've just shown that it IS about the dollars. Talk about reading comprehension.........words fail me, and that's a FIRST..........

And where are my good old buddies, Munchies and Calliloyd??

Teddy is always "committed to the long haul", but after a couple of losses, with Teddy's exhortations becoming more stringent and incomprehensible, he quietly fades away into the twilight.... Talk about Yogi Berra's malapropisms....Teddy is just as good at it.

Sam Peter will probably fight Povetkin next.
But it seems that the contenders ARE fighting Wladimir Klitschko..... Who else is fighting him, may I ask??

Pov's main strength, good inside fighting, will avail him nothing against Wlad. If anyone is going to beat Wlad, he's probably going to be a fast in and out kind of guy, someone who can slip and move under Wlad's jab, leap in, fire off a few quick shots and jump out again, before he gets clinched up. Pov can do as many Tyson impersonations as he likes against complete cans, but as soon as he gets in the ring with Wlad (assuming he's even ever going to do that) he's going to look just like all those other 'do nothing' opponents that Atlas so freely criticises.

BTW, I've never been that concerned about Povetkin's appearance. He'll never have abs like Gamboa but he seems well conditioned for twelve rounds to me.
