I might. But if I do I want to be an oustide boxer not an inside one. I'm just asking because inside fighters probably get hit more often because theyre more exposed then oustide fighters.

Maybe Ricky Hatton isn't shot and it's true he took an awful of stick against Pacman, but a fresher Hatton could have taken more punishment. Ultimately he probably doesn't have enough durability to compete at that top-level, hence his retirement.
You say yes but you fail to explain why.

As long as you can control the distance where the other guy is not effective. Keep your chin down at all times. Ask John Ruiz

I strongly believe that you need a good chin to be any type of fighter.

                  And I don't box.

An inside fighter isn't the same thing as a brawler. Tim Bradley is a good inside fighter who has only really been caught solidly by Kendall Holt, and even then he didn't get hit much for the rest of the fight.

On the other hand if you are fighting world class opposition then you are going to get hit sooner or later. A bad chin is going to be a big disadvantage no matter what your style is.
Finally a good post. Green K . Mike Tyson was also an inside fighter and he was also very hard to be hit clean because of his lateral movement.
