Do you need to have a good chin to be an inside fighter?

You say yes but you fail to explain why.Comment

Finally a good post. Green KThere are some inside fighters who do a good job of not getting hit much, and positioning themselves so that their opponents shots have less sting to them when they do land. Some inside fighters do a good job of landing their own shots while smothering the work of their opponents.
An inside fighter isn't the same thing as a brawler. Tim Bradley is a good inside fighter who has only really been caught solidly by Kendall Holt, and even then he didn't get hit much for the rest of the fight.
On the other hand if you are fighting world class opposition then you are going to get hit sooner or later. A bad chin is going to be a big disadvantage no matter what your style is.
. Mike Tyson was also an inside fighter and he was also very hard to be hit clean because of his lateral movement.
