When I saw home-cooking scandal, I was hoping there was a Super Six scandal that actually involved cooking...oh well.

Squirrel lost because he was clinging at Carls **** and spending more time spread-eagled like a drunk ****** than he was showing aggression.
Froch did not win the fight. Dirrel lost it.Last edited by BattlingNelson; 03-23-2010, 02:43 PM.Comment

You guys can keep digging all you want to. The fact is that Dirrell landed at least triple the punches that Froch did.Comment

Do hip tosses and rabbit punches count?
Sorry, but I'm only being fair here. Both guys employed "negative tactics".Comment

But landing more punches (and the more effective, might I add) and avoiding more punches doesn't win you fights? What exactly does win you fights, in a boxing match?Comment

not too sure about dirrell vs carlos frochos...Following the extensive hometown advantages allowed for american André Ward, it was believed by most, that the practice of home-town referees and judges was to be a thing of the past given the tourneys international flavour.
Not so.
According to BILD Andre Direll's promotor Gary Shaw has, like his US compatriot Joe Goosen, made arrangements so that both the referee and one of the judges is from Direll's homestate of Michigan. One of the other judges is the mexican who had Direll as winner in his close encounter with Carl Froch in Nottingham.
The final judge is Gino Cavalleri. Both sides agree on him.
The rules in the super six are as follows:Comment

You're right counting all the punches in the fight would be easier a hell of a lot easier than just counting Dirrell hugs. If you don't understand why Dirrell then you are ******ed or a blind fan. I'm just glad the judges saw through Dirrell cowardly hustle and did not reward it with a championship belt which he clearly doesn't deserve.Comment
