This fight does nothing for me, many other fans, and legacy wise for either fighter, especially B-hop because Roy should have retired after the Johnson fight for sure.

Still, if Roy beats Hopkins that would be the only plus because he is so arrogant and takes himself way too seriously.

hobkins is fighting RJ only cause Roy got KO'D by Green in his last fight. Had Jones won? hobkins would still be running! Roy beat him when it counted. A win today for hobkins would mean nothing. Roy is water-logged. A shot to his upper head (temple) area is fatal. hobkins is still solid, mind and body, considering his age. But if hobkins fails to defeat worn Roy Jones Jr. He'll be the biggest joke for a long time!!!!

Hopkins has more to lose, but he's done so much and they're both so damn old, that most would be forgiven. Realistically, this is just one of those fights that have happened MANY times over the years. Old rivals that want another pay day, that strikes a chord with a section of the boxing public that will watch.
