Saying something like belts only collect dust when the guy who he just passed the torch to has a manager that's saying they are in the belt collecting business. Now how does that make Floyd look to you?

I know I sound like a Floyd hater/Pac tard, but I honestly do think Floyd was kind of backed into a corner where fighting Mosley is concerned. It took him forever to sign the contract after Mosley signed it just like Margarito took his sweet time to sign his part of the contract after Mosley's ink was dry. And people would've ripped him to the gills if he signed to fight some other weak opponent.
People always say he was forced to sign the Mosley fight. IN boxing you don't have to fight anybody!!! The world demanded Mayweather vs Pacquiao but did the fight happen? NOOOOOO. So stop with the lame excuses that Mayweather was backed into this fight cause after he wins you'll be saying Mosley is too old. And you say people would of ripped him to the gill sif he signed to fight some other weak opponent. Ummm I don't know if your realized this but he's being ripped apart anyway. So what's the difference? He's fighting Mosley and he's still being ripped so you guys make no sense. You guys never wanna give Floyd credit. NEVER!!! Why do you even watch boxing? Just to bash Mayweather? What will you idiots do when Mayweather retires?

Floyd never fought at a catchweight? I believe his last fight was supposed to be a catchweight, but came in overweight. Check your facts. I like floyd before he went on his propaganda stunt that pac's on drugs.

That's the same thing I'm feelin man. Been too long since floyd fought a top guy.

Going to have to disagree with you on that one because
Pac has fought carefully selected fighters after JMM and
on top of that, he has two fighters Floyd already beat on
his resume that Floyd fought when they were in better
condition mentally and physically 1 to 2 years prior to
Pac. Floyd fighting JMM at 144 catchweight was like Pac
fighting David Diaz at 135 considering it was more challenging
fights at that weight class for Pac to take. Do appreciate
that we can debate, agree and disagree respectively though.

What is ******ed is thinking that Pac can throw 1200 punches against everyone!!! It's easy to throw 1200 punches when your opponent is throwing any punches AT ALL!!!! And don't say it was because of Pacquiao that's bull****. Did he throw 1200 punches against Marquez? Hell no cause Marquez was countering the hell out of him. And when Pacquiao gets countered he stops throwing period. So against Floyd he wont even throw 600 punches bet on it!!!

I know he did but we are talking about him moving up in weight.
He fought for all of his titles in each division at the appropriate
and legit weight class and Pac didn't. Not trying to down play Pac
but your saying how great Pac is compared to Floyd but Floyd never
won a title at a catchweight.

Look, I'm somewhat of a Floyd detractor like a lot of other people are. But you will hear me go on record and say he never ducked Cotto and that Margarito wouldn't fight him after the Cotto win because of the way he went Hollywood. But there are still things that Floyd says and does that causes this heat to come down on him. Saying things like we are not here to prove who the best is and belts just collect dust are statements that make people come down hard on him. Do we hear guys like Paul Williams, Glen Johnson, or even Shane Mosley himself say he doesn't fight for the fans?

That's a copout. IF he was so confident in his skills he wouldn't need catchweights. He would just go out there and fight. Mayweather has never asked for a catchweight. How many pouds did Baldomir outweight Mayweather? And Mayweather dominated him. NO he didn't knock him out. But who has Pacquiao knocked out that weighed 13 pounds more than him? exactly so just stop your hatin it's embarassing

How is it carefully selected when he moved up 3 weight divisions in less than a year fighting guys way bigger than he is? Let me cool you down on a typical *****s and *******s. They say before each fight of either pac or may that theyre gonna get their ass whooped and after a fight, they make a bunch of excuses. But here in mayweather's case, mosley is his first legit opponent in 5 years.

Mayweather only needs to throw 450 pucnhes, he lands at 50-55%. Floyds left hooks and straight rights will dominate shane all fight, I cant see shane tapping mayweather at all. Mayweather will throw and then get out of range.
