But see, you have to take into consideration the time lines of each
fighter and who was who in the divisions and what fight made sense.
When Floyd went to WW, Judah and Baldomir were the biggest fights
for him PERIOD. Cotto was fighting Mosley when Floyd was fighting
Hatton the next month. You guys act like in the sport of boxing
that the fighters just say, "Hey, I want to fight you. Lets fight"
it doesn't work like that. I hear and read people bringing up fighters
of the old but back then, all the top guys were beasts and had to
fight each other for the spot, now it's different. If you want to
get deep on it, I think Manny Pacquiao's team is one of the biggest
carefully picking match makers in the sport because all of his past
5 fights were meaningless but only for big pay days with the exception
of Hatton (140 champ) Cotto wasn't the man at WW, it was Mosley.
Cotto was carefully picked for Pac. Cotto didn't even want to put his
title on the line and Mosley did AND the fight wasn't even at 147. My
thing is, why keep saying who Floyd ducked cause right now he is
fighting the best at WW and the best guy at WW didn't want to fight
him at WW when he was primed. I wish some of you would just get
off the bull**** and call it how it is.

Margarito did the same. That to me is not fair to put it on Floyd only.
I think the reason why people say Floyd ducked guys like Margarito,
Cotto, Pwill is because they feel these guys would be a challenge or
fighters that can beat Floyd but that can be said about Floyd's other opponents as well and once Floyd beat them then all of sudden they
were washed up or old. Fact of the matter is that Floyd fought unde
feated and ranked fighters and stayed undefeated for 10 years. He
called out all the top guys coming up but the only guy you can really
say wanted something to do with Floyd was Antonio Margarito because
he was the most vocal about fighting him at 147. Mosley didn't want
none until his star started dimming and Cotto has never been really
vocal about fighting Floyd. If people insists on Floyd ducked
fighters than there is an argument for fighters ducking him as well
because the door swings both ways.
Well said GRUSTLER. I'm trying to type because my computer has 28 viruses and it's allowing me to type but not to open any programs.

          that **** was weak.

Max Kellerman is an asskisser and a propagandist. He shouldve showed some sack and challenged Mayweather on his fradulent career.

          Instead he glorified it.

          What a chump.

            Campbell
            Mayweather

I can go on and on! David Diaz was the weakest in his division. Need I say more?
Pac doesn't avoid all M's here you mentioned except that the other N's has no time for it to happen. Remember, Clottey is a nice boxer too.

i agree with what you say but what i dont agree with is you defend Mayweather and at the same time downgrade Pac. Now my fav fighter is Shane but im more of a boxing fan. the fact is if floyd wants the fight, he will get it, period. boxing is the biggest stars get what they want, and floyd is one of the biggest.

Yes judah and Bladomir were the biggest fights, but they were far from the best opposition. but than you downgrade pac for fighting cotto when that fight was bigger than shane v pac. you cant have it both ways.

the bottom line is these guys have no where else to go but to fight each other and we will see who is better.

you are right, these guys all need to fight eachother, that is what the greats did---hagler, hearns, duran, leonard, ali, frazier, tyson, lewis, foreman, holyfield....these guys all challenged themselves to fight the best out there, something floyd hasnt done yet.
i would have to agree with this post except for the part of pac's chin. I don't see his chin as the problem. He didn't even show any respect to cotto and clottey's power. But what I noticed is that, pac's face is more easily damaged in ww than i've ever seen him in any other weight classes. he took cotto's and clottey's punch like it was nothing. But here in clottey's case, he barely landed more than a hundred and pac's face was beat up, even though he wasn't stunned.

I saw the vid, and Mayweather knew he couldn't say much to discredit Mosley's win over Margarito because then Mosley would've countered with the fact that he at least fought him. And Floyd admitted that he isn't in the sport to be a great champ. Saying something like belts only collect dust when the guy who he just passed the torch to has a manager that's saying they are in the belt collecting business. Now how does that make Floyd look to you?

I know I sound like a Floyd hater/Pac tard, but I honestly do think Floyd was kind of backed into a corner where fighting Mosley is concerned. It took him forever to sign the contract after Mosley signed it just like Margarito took his sweet time to sign his part of the contract after Mosley's ink was dry. And people would've ripped him to the gills if he signed to fight some other weak opponent.

i dont see how floyd is gonna pot shot his way to a victory.
look what activity did against clottey for pac, clottey couldnt score or win any rounds because he was on the defense 95% of the time.
i know, i know, no comparing floyd to clottey, and i am not, but i am just stating how activity can easily win rounds against minimal activity.

Accuracy my friend Accuracy. The pefect example of that would be Mayweather vs de la hoya in that fight Oscar was much more active but it was Mayweather's accuracy that got him the win. It don't matter how active you are if you're landing half of what your opponent is landing you wont win!
