Yeah at the end of the day we didnt get every single detail. It could play out where the fight goes on and you have to forfeit a percentage of your purse to the opponent. Maybe you have to pay upfront money. Maybe the title get stripped in Shanes case. Lots of different things can happen.

I think that is the most like scenerio if the winner is the one who gets popped might will not get credit and end in a no contest.

boxing is unique from all other sports and the punishment/non-punishments it administers...we cant take a precedent from cycling and think boxing will follow suit and use it as a template

Why would it be a joke? The fight could only go on with the other fighter's consent which even then is doubtful. They are implementing the same rules applied in the Olympics - you can't just keep fighting like it's all good (you must have them confused the NSAC). A positive test is not a joke, man.

That's what I'm saying, they strip medals. They aren't going to continue to let you fight for ****s and giggles. This is serious stuff here.

The fight will probably still take place because they can make millions from this fight. Too much money to lose if they cancel the fight for a drug test. They can announce the positive drug test after fight and suspend the fighter.

the premise of the testing is to have a bout that's on an 'even playing field'...to continue when that playing field has been altered makes it a joke IMO

the fight would have to be scrapped IMO and the PR nightmare begins

Probably , cause if you're willing to do the testing you are most likely clean, so why not. Plus, I don't think Pac plans on fighting for too much longer, I hope he does, but it seems as if he will fight one more time and then retire.
