I might be having the dates confused but I think That crazy demand came after Schafer skipped the meeting. And, after that was when the OST thing blew up. Even though they did agreed to take it at first.

My point is this, IMO I think if Golden Boy agrees to fight in Dallas Top Rank would agree to OST. If Golden Boy insist in fighting in the MGM Top Rank would not do the OST. Now this is not a fact just me getting my Horus on with conspiracy theory.
I believe Floyd told GBP he doesn't want to fight in texas and that's why Schaeffer didn't go.

But that was wrong... regardless of what Floyd said, you still GO to the meeting. You entertain the idea, and you go. The tickets were already bought, the plans were already made. It was unprofessional to pull out like that. Especially in the middle of VERY SENSITIVE negotiations for this fight... you don't stir the pot like that.

You goto the meeting regardless if you plan on fighting there or not.

And, from what I hear Jerry Jones was willing to pay more. Nobody was going to outbid Jerry Jones for that fight. Even Floyd wanted to look into it. But, Golden boy has some kind of deal with MGM. And, from what I got is that MGM made Golden boy know where there bread was buttered. But, even Floyd was not agaisnt the Dallas idea. Because, Floyd is a business man he knew he would of made more money in Dallas. However, GBP sellfish ways wanted in the MGM.

A 30 minute countdown really doesn't compare to a 4 part series show.

I heard Floyd was intruiged by the idea but it was Schafer who didn't want to go. But, I could be wrong. But, regardless like you said he should of went to the meeting. But, right after that is when everything fell apart.

The attendance numbers for this fight isn't something that you can sneeze at. But I really don't think this fight did all that good on PPV. I've gotta see it to believe it.

How do you feel about them coming down to 24 days... and then proceed to take a blood test just 19 days from fight night with Clottey.

They were stuck at 24 and 14. 19 is right in the middle, and they walked away... only to do a 19 day blood test with Clottey.
