The true test will be what Shane does in the later rounds. Anyone can follow a game plan for 4 or 5 rounds. I want to see what Shane does when natural instincts override simple logic.

I was thinking about answering your post, but right here you lost all credibility.

let me know if you've ever heard of any of the guys baldo had lost to when he fought floyd, compare them to shane's 5 losses.

I agree Mayweather beats Mosley quite easily, but this made me LOL. I have to spread more green around before giving it to you again.

And you act like Floyd just pulled Baldomir's name out of a hat as a random opponent to fight. Baldomir was the welterweight champion of the world! You guys are hilarious.

I'm still steaming over these comments. Trust me, I understand math very well. I never suggested that 5 was close to 9! Go back and look at what I said. 5 is NOT TOO FAR BEHIND. Keep twisting and turning the facts and trying to shift the focus of the discussion to the difference in the amount of losses Carlos Baldomir had and Shane Mosley has, while Roxas and I continue to post facts about issues that are actually relevant. At the end of the day, the result will remain the same. Floyd will have an EASY time with Shane.

Boy this is pathetic. NSB is for the birds mane. A guy comes on here and posts mostly facts and requests a mature discussion about boxing and gets all these immature, cliche, unsupported statements with no facts... utterly amazing.

I can't tallk to the TS, cuz he's a moron, but you seem to be able to hold a good conversation. Let's start here.

right I am going to write some of Shanes flaws I challenge anyone to try and form a logical rebutal....

Shane's handspeed and footspeed have dimished since hes gotten older. True, i think that happens to every single human being alive if I"m not mistaken. perhaps this is why floyd finally decided to fight him. anyway, there are boxing strategies that can counteract this and don't forget that shane is the fastest guy floyd has fought since zab.

Shane has very little head movement whenever he gets hit he doesn't even guard he just jingles his hands out to create distance. this may be true, however, it only affects shane when he's at a distance from floyd and I don't expect this fight to be at a distance all fight

Shane has become more of a 1,2 power puncher as he has aged he is no longer the combination puncher he used to be back in his 135 lb days.
not even close to as bad as floyd has since he's been at 147. advantage shane. see shanve v margs, shane v collazo

Shane has a subpar Jab, Shane simply uses his left jab as a range finder or as a disguise for his right hand. shane has a much better jab when he needs it.

Miguel Cotto showed us movement and a jab can greatly fustrate Shane Mosley.....and I wouldn't even class Cotto as a master boxer.

cotto pre margs was a different fighter, i think we can all agree on that. cotto-shane was a very close to even fight, shane didn't have nazam in his corner for this fight either, i believe shane wil come with a much better game plan. shane came on late in that fight too, something to look for in this fight as floyd will have to actually work hard on may 1.

what I'm saying is that you can't have a serious discussion on here and start answering stuff with comparisons of shane's and baldo's losses. if someone is flaming your thread, ignore them and wait for an intelligent response. math has nothing to do with it, holding losses vs a prime winky and forrest (who would both give floyd more than hell) in the same regard as losses by baldo to random argentinean fighters no one ever heard of makes you lose the respectability you were trying to project in this thread.
