    Sek,

Between Brother Nas, Bhop, and Shane...I think they got something for Floyd.

I have to agree with OP, Floyd beats Shane 9-3 come May 1st. Mosley gets outclassed and everyone will call him old.

I may be going on a hunch here, but I believe that between Nasam, Bernard, and Shane, they may be able to figure out what Floyd's adjustment will be and fight a different fight in the second half or adjust their offensive game plan.

We agreed on about half of my points, but to the others,

        1) for the last time, there is a lot of history between these two guys as to he said she said and documents and call outs and whatnot. all of that is just talk. If you look at actions, not words. You know the answer to this ad nauseum conversation.

        2) Floyd is definitely a master boxer, IMO only second in the game in boxing IQ, which is saying a lot. In recent years, like say the last 7, Floyd has run the show in the ring- However, I would challenge you in that Floyd hasn't faced a strong WW, that can put on intelligent pressure similiar to what happened 8 years ago in the fight you are talking about. Shane will catch up to floyd at some point in the fight and also closes the show very strong. Floyd has not dealt with this kind of force ever, or at least in about 8-9 years. Now with all that being said, if anyone wins an easy fight here, it would be floyd, so my pick is certainly well in the minority.

        3) Shane will need a double jab or jab to the body in this fight.

People are always saying Shane has never fought anyone like Floyd, well the same holds true for Floyd. Floyd has been walking on easy street since 2002, he's crossing back over to the wrong side of the tracks for this fight.
I can digg it. I think it's a bit of stretch to say that the tandem of Bhop, Bro Naz, and Shane will figure out what floyd's adjustment is before it happens and will have a strategy to counteract it. I'm not knocking the immense knowledge between the trio but, I don't think even Floyd knows how he will adjust to Shane as yet. Floyd could be lying but, I believe him when he says he doesn't study tape. Just based on how is fights are it would appear that he feels out what his opponents has to offer, then he adjusts his strategy to negate their strengths as the fight goes on (hatton, ODLH, Judah, etc.).

I do agree that this will be Floyd's biggest and best WW challenge to date. Trust me I really wanted this fight. In fact I wanted this fight a little more than the pac fight because to this date floyd has never fought a universally highly ranked WW. This fight will legitimize his ww campaign IMO.

This is boxing so anything can happen. With that being said, I believe shane's punches are too telegraphed for someone like Floyd and I believe Floyd will make shane's aggressiveness work against him.
Do you think that floyd has been on easy street since 2002 or he just made his fights look easy? lol
Writers all over the nation picked Judah, Hatton, Oscar, and even Baldy (lol) to beat floyd, until he fought them of course.
In any case, we both agree that this will be a good fight!

You could very well be right here. I could be totally wrong, it's why I'm so excited about this fight.

I think that this fight (if Floyd wins) and the fight against Manny (if he wins that) would legitimize Floyd post 135 in a big way. I will be heaping praise on him if he even fights both those guys (you never know). I will not be talking shi t about his victory V Shane if he gets it and even if he makes it look easy. If he doesn't engage at all and bores everyone to death I may reverse the last statement.

I worry about the italics as well.

I most certainly do not concur with that ridiculous statement about people picking those guys over Floyd. I know that I knew they were easy fights for Floyd. Especially baldo the slowest weakest puncher ever. Only a moron would pick Hatton after his prior WW showing, and since when did Zab beat anyone elite? Especially at WW. I'm going to pretend you didn't type that statement. Why don't you go check the Vegas odds for those fights. I don't care what the boxing guy for the Bismark Gazette in North Dakota picked. Floyd is -170 v Shane so Shane's not getting much props from Vegas on this fight either.

Didn't Floyd said that Mosley is C list fighter then I believe the Thread is True. Mosley can't beat Forrest and Wright even in a rematch the guy just can't handle slick and defensive fighters period. The only way he can win if Floyd is a real Fraud in the ring but that's not true at all. Floyd has great reflex and knows all the tricks in the book to win a fight. He fights to win not to entertain.
