More than half the tickets were less than 100 bucks. The total capacity is eye catching but the gate isnt higher than what a sold out MGM grand produces when there is superstar there.

Pacquiao has a whole country and millions of people in the US supporting him and he still has trouble selling millions of PPVs without a dance partner.

So let me understand.....

With the Mayweather/Pac fight falling apart, haters telling everyone and their mama to boycott this event, analysts and opinions that matter saying that this fight was a complete mismatch due to Pac's speed, Pac's whole country being 1/2 a day away and a impoverished nation, (Clottey's too) no proper promotion (24/7) and Clottey being unknown to the "casual fan".....700K ppv buys doesn't impress you?

But Floyd's 1mil dancing with Marquez does?

Some "fans" just hate......but again...its not about the PPV #s to some...its what happens inside the ring.....this thread was started to put the number out there...not to compare.
