    For a boxing match..Pac won..but he lost..

if it was a str8 up fight...Clottey landed a higher % and the more stronger/meaningful punches....i was going for pac..still a pac fan...but i just cant remember more than 1 or 2 total MEANINGFUL punches that pac landed on clottey..compared to CLotteys nasty uppercuts and quick straight right hands.....he did block over 1000 punches...

but due to his inactivity..he lost the "boxing match"...

I think if someone is going to be in the sport of boxing, they should try to win the "boxing match" portion of boxing.

It would have been a good fight if clottey had opened up, clottey was landing meaningul punches, when he'd bother to throw, but if to throw more he'd have to open up, and get hit.

I think if clottey lets go, the fight ends in KO. Who gets KO'd? I dunno

Manny landed many punches on Clottey's gloves; I mean it's kind of hard to penetrate a guy who has that style of defence. But Pac's power shots, the double left hands etc. did hurt Clottey even though they didn't connect clean. That's why he stayed in his shell all night, he didn't wanna be knocked out. If he had opened up he'd have got killed. The body shots were also effective and very clean

****, I could have gone in there and did what Clottey did. It was just plain terrible.

Until professional boxing institutes a scoring system that measures the "legal and effective scoring blows" like in amateur boxing - this is a pointless discussion.

i gave clottey 2 of the first 3 rounds, but after round 4, i just couldn't justify giving him any more.....

This is a horrible argument because the bad % by pac was mostly due to his jabs. He threw a ton of jabs and most of them landed on his guard, but that was done on purpose. Pac threw 549 jabs and landed only 14 (3%).

Pac landed 35% of his power shots (232 out of 682), that's what counts. Clottey landed 82 out of 273 power shots.
