Why is Pacquiao always given the benefit that he's small at WW?

Manny has been fighting as a Welterweight on fightnight for about 4 years now.

I give Manny credit though that he can get down in weight, at least to 140 rather easily.

        the prick just didn't try.

i'm talking about if he really tried to cut weight , his frame would allow him.

don't know if he'll be effective but he can make 135.

i still don't think floyd is more than 150 fight night. or 155 at most.

people can drop 15-20 lbs. if they had to.

No one ever wants to mention that. Floyd has always weighed in under 150 lbs on fight night. So where's all this Pacquiao is not a real WW stuff coming from? This is just a built in excuse when Mayweather taxes that ass.
The reality is that Pacquiao is still a natural 135-140lber, but is able to make 142-145 (which according to his camp isn't an easy task due to his calorie intake to get him up in weight) and is beating top WWs (who might I add Floyd's never fought). Floyd couldn't even make 144lbs to fight a bloated JMM who was a seasoned Featherweight / Lightweight.

Pac has to eat more than he normally would to fight at 147 otherwise he would be 140 guy.

This probably simply explains it more than anyone has said.

Pac can easily make 140, the man is not a real WW. He really belongs at JWW. But, he is good enough that he can beat the top level WWs. And, maybe good enough to even compete and beat some top 10 JMWs....
