Why is Pacquiao always given the benefit that he's small at WW?

I keep hearing that he's not over 150 lbs fight night blah blah blah

Floyd weighed in @ 150 vs Oscar at JMM and claimed he came to the ring weighing 148 but he marked down 150. Don't you remember that post interview?

No one ever wants to mention that. Floyd has always weighed in under 150 lbs on fight night. So where's all this Pacquiao is not a real WW stuff coming from? This is just a built in excuse when Mayweather taxes that ass.

He's 5'5" 1/2 and didn't even reach the limit on the weigh in.. he is certainly not a BIG welterweight, i'll tell you that much..

My whole point is that Floyd is as well and no one ever mentioned that! Not only that but he wins on pure skill as well!

Pacquiao has always come in at 140-149 @ FIGHT NIGHT! Regardless of weightclass since his featherweight days.

I never said he wasn't this small WW that is doing something incredible. Floyd has been doing the same thing for years. He weigh what Pac did in his fight vs Clottey against Oscar and that was @ 154!!!

Pac can make 135 while Floyd cannot. Pac is not a natural welter. Floyd is a natural welter and a middle weight at fight night.

**** off Floyd was a small Welter and always has been before the JMM fight.

He's 5 foot 8 and has a reach of 72. He aint small now. Although him and Pac are growing in the weight.

3 fights at welterweight he has yet to weigh in at 147 in a weigh in.

3 fights at welterweight he has yet to weigh in over 149 on fight night.

what does that tell you compared to a regular welterweight who comes in at the very least a junior middleweight on fight night & the bigger welters come in at middleweight?
