Schaefer questioned the legitimacy of UFC pay-per-view results that were leaked. He said HBO is a publicly traded company that would face serious repercussions for releasing false numbers. The UFC, he noted, is a private company with no such concerns.

“I think the UFC and boxing should be able to co-exist and work together in this thing that we call (combat) sports,” Schaefer said.

“I don’t want to talk (expletive) about the UFC. But Dana White can’t do an interview without knocking boxing. If he thinks we’re idiots and don’t know anything about the pay-per-view business, I’ll make him a challenge.

“I am willing to hire one of the top three accounting firms, at my expense, and do an audit of his pay-per-view results. They are nowhere near what is put into the public. There is talk that UFC 100 did 1.6 million, but it barely broke a million. I am willing to pay to have the audits done to prove this.”

White said he would not allow anyone other than fighters with a contractual right to do so to audit his numbers.

“Do you think I’m (expletive) crazy?” he said.

People were put off once they heard that the steroid demon superstar Brock Lesnar got hurt, and wont be back until summer. Im a fan of both mma and boxing, of course more Boxing, but I respect both sports. UFC to me im honestly losing interest man, and I didnt order the last one even though my favorite fighter Minotauro Nogueira was fighting, and im glad I didnt because id have been ashamed to see a legend of MMA get embarassed like he did against Cain Velasquez... Anyways thats besides the point, that Im pretty hyped up about James Toney vs ??? Whoever he fights, because I want to see how he does... But this is the UFC title match situations are... Lightweight Belt, BJ Penn (champ) vs Frankie Edgar... Who is Frankie Edgar? Ive never seen a fight from this guy not on ****e TV nor PPV, where did he come from? Welterweight, George St. Pierre(champ) vs Dan Hardy... A british red mohawk donning fighting who has not beat a real quality opponent yet in my opinion, and I can name a few other guys who should have been a shoe in for a title shot, Josh Koscheck and Paulo Thiago... Middleweight, Anderson Silve (of course champ) vs. Demian Maia, whos a decent fighter, but by all means I dont think he deserves a shot either, and hes replacing an injured Vitor Belfort, whos a legend of MMA but doesnt deserve a shot either for beating a shot Rich Franklin in Vitor's first UFC fight in years, now he's in title consideration? Bull****, in fact noone in MW deserves a title shot, the division is an embarrassment right now. Then there's the light heavyweight championship between Lyoto Machida and Shogun Rua, where the champ Machida spent the whole fight "counter striking" but his definition of countering was taking kicks to the legs all day and just trying to get away from the man who shouldve gotten the decision, but was robbed by the judges, and clearly was the winner of that fight... And the real Heavyweight champion is Brock Lesnar, but theyre having an "interim" title match between Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin, whos an 11-0 newcomer that atleast matches Lesnar on size, but he's only beaten Gabriel Gonzaga and thats the only notable name on his whole resume, if you wanna even call it notable. Frank Mir, whos already fought Lesnar twice, and if they meet again itll be Brocks 6th fight and 3rd time fighting Mir, lets see him against someone else already damn, this guy wont beat Brock he got dominated both times and got lucky the first time... So this is why the UFC is going downhill!
