Looks possible they have. Not taken Clottey lightly... but lied to Manny about what a legit Welter actually is.

I hope Clottey shows up but there's some serious question marks when I look at him. Is he on the payroll for one? If not that, I think Roach saw the same quit in his eyes that I saw when he fought Cheato and Cotto. He was smashing Cheato's ass for 5 rounds then just fell off. In the Cotto fight I saw him trying to quit. He wanted out of that fight. Hopefully he's seeing this as his final stand cause if he loses it will be pretty much.

hey if floyd wants to fight a corpse then fine with me, just tell him to stop parading around saying is the the best in his era or ever and all that hype bull**** when he hasnt even fought the best....all this drama and bull**** is insulting to the sport.
leonard, hagler, duran, hearns, ali, frazier, lamatta, robinson...those guys are the elites, those guys are the legends, they all fought the best and signed the contracts without bailing out for one way or another....not talking pac, but look at the other fighters floyd has ducked,

thats fine, u can fight easy fights and make your money but STOP saying you are the best.
leonard is a legend but a 36-3-1 record and ducking aaron pryor should be mentioned if you are going to go there...

you keep saying floyd "ducked" but bob arum has alot to do with Cotto, Marg fights not being made what other fights has he ducked and explain it. dont say he ducked shane either because he tried to fight him when he was in his prime!

Missed when he tried to quit V Cotto. You mean hurting his leg after a body slam

Don't try to explain it to people that persists to blind themselves
to the facts. Just tell them to look at my sig and get it right!
                Straight from Arum's mouth.

A fighter knows another fighter's demeanor but even a true fan could see Clottey complaining to the ref more, not being as active when he saw that Cotto wasn't gonna quit. I could clearly see quit in his eyes. It wasn't the same Clottey down the stretch as when he's having his way in a fight. A champion always figures a way to win. He's not the first to get injured in a fight but a real champion always figures out a way to win especially when he's winning. You don't just stop fighting like in the Cheato fight.

If they wanted either guy so bad then why aren't they fighting either one of them for the current fight? Pac could have gotten Shane to cancel with Berto for a fight at Jerry World. Floyd got him to cancel and Shane would have canceled for Pac and still went to 142. Roach and company is picking opponents and praying that Mosley takes some damage and gets older in this fight.

its the only way they know they can do good against any of these top guys. cherry picken *****s.

Outside of Maragrito who at the time was not exactly a big ticket PPV item, name me one elite fighter that called Mayweather out? I don't remember Cotto calling Mayweather out because up until recently there haven't been that many dominant WW out there. Paul Williams wasn't even calling Mayweather out so where are all these elite fighters out that you talk of Mayweather ducking. Mosley ducked Mayweather years ago when he didn't feel Mayweather was on his level. One good turn deserves another. He simply gave back to Mosley what he gave him when he wanted a big shot. Mayweather chased behind De La Hoya for years and took fights moving up weight classes until he got it. So where again were all these elite guys you speak of calling Mayweather out?
