You are putting your life on the line in that ring and seeking as much compensation as you can is the only way to think. All it takes is one bad night and one hard blow to the head to end it all. Tell me what legacy will do for you when you can't even say your own name let alone recognize who you are?
floyd is not an up and comer, he has been a milionaire for 10 years so this makes no sense.

hey if floyd wants to fight a corpse then fine with me, just tell him to stop parading around saying is the the best in his era or ever and all that hype bull**** when he hasnt even fought the best....all this drama and bull**** is insulting to the sport.
leonard, hagler, duran, hearns, ali, frazier, lamatta, robinson...those guys are the elites, those guys are the legends, they all fought the best and signed the contracts without bailing out for one way or another....not talking pac, but look at the other fighters floyd has ducked,

thats fine, u can fight easy fights and make your money but STOP saying you are the best.

If his skill level was so bad don't you think he would have lost to his not so dangerous opponents by now? Every fighter has a style that is unique to them and that works for them. If you don't like the way Mayweather fights, don't look at his fights. If you don't like the fact that he puts money as his top priority that's ok too because its his perogative. Some people are motivated by money and other's by legacy. There is no right or worng way of thinking, it all depends on your value system.

It's abit worrying that Freddie is already looking past Clottey. Roach talking about they want Mayweather - Mosley winner but they'll be looking for a rematch if Clottey can manage to cause the upset.

What I dont like about the 2 pound over BS is it tries to imply that Floyd needed the extra weight to win. It was his first fight back! Unless your saying the outcome would be different at any weight the 2 pound issue should never be brought up again. Floyd manned up and payed 600 gs for the mishap which added to Marquez' already biggest career payday. Manny didn't wanna fight and was looking for every way out that's why they asked for a ridiculous 10 mill per pound over and you and I know that was behind the demand but in case you don't wanna admit it view Freddy the Roach's constant statement in regards to Clottey. Roach has been saying over and over that weight/size doesn't win fights so what was the point of the 10 over the limit for Floyd?

                NOW, THIS.

Obviously there's more talk than action here. Sure a 40-0 is "perfect" but there are more questions such as:

•*Who did he beat in comparison to who he should have fought instead?

Floyd often dissed Muhammad Ali that he isn't the greatest...wow, ALI fought all of the great champions....and fought he did. All of them in his time. Not one did he duck even in his last two fights with Trevor Berbick and Spinks.....he didn't have to fight them but he did because he was challenged.

Sure Floyd often say he admits he fights for money....but he didn't fight the biggest money either.

I seriuosly doubt that Team Pacquiao wants to fight the winner of this fight. Why? Because they always pick boxers coming off a loss (Clottey), that have been thouroughly beaten up & KO'd (Hatton & Cotto) or are OLD & Weight drained (ODLH).

The likely opponent if you look closely at Pacquiao's fights after Marquez, would be the loser of the Mosely vs Mayweather Superfight.

If Shane Mosley isn't the best available than please tell us whom is? It sure aint Clottey or Cotto coming off the Cheato slaughter. You *******s act like Manny beat the unbeaten Cotto or the Oscar Tito fought or even the Hatton right after Zu. All were tainted as hell when they fought Pacroid. Pacroid caught all of them on the downslide.
