Arum is having a fight at Yankee's freakin stadium. He needs to do this big, imo. It's one thing to have a ****ty card at Dallas stadium cuz pac is the headline, but cotto isn't pacquiao. JuanMa is a rising star, together it would be very successful. If it's just cotto/foreman, and a decent or crappy card, can it sell out? If it doesn't it kinda looks bad. Maybe Yankee stadium wont have any more fights as a result.

It's important to put on good cards if you're going to do it on such a large stage, imo.
I agree completely with with this. If Bob is gonna do it he needs to do it BIG!!!! This is not any old stadium this is YANKEE stadium which has a rich history of hosting historic fights.

I honestly think Arum is not putting JuanMa or Gamboa or anyother rising name that he has in his stable of fighters, to test Cotto's drawing power. He gave Cotto up to Manny as a sacrifical lamb(to further boost Manny's star power and credibility) and I believe that Bob is unsure of Cotto's drawing power(being that it took a huge hit from the Manny fight) and wants to test and get a solid idea of where it's at before pressing the issue with Miguel, in regards to "milking" whats left of Cotto.

Cotto is a true warrior, he deserves respect; such a shame he lost to 2 cheaters.

Come on now bruh. I wouldn't put Cotto no where NEAR Angulo at this point and time in Cotto's career. Perro would put way too much presure on Miguel. It would really make him think about the Margo fight(which I'm not sure he's quite over yet).

I believe the undercard fight is going to be Anthony Peterson vs. Humberto Soto/David Diaz winner this Saturday in Dallas. I'm sure Duddy will be on the untelevised portion to bring thousands of his fans to Yankee Stadium. The place should be packed between the Puerto Ricans, ***s, Irishmen, and general NY fight fans who want to see a fight in Yankee Stadium.

Having Juanma fight on the card in an untelevised bout would have been counter-productive to making Lopez a star. I understand why Arum didn't put Lopez and Gamboa on the card.
exactly. 2 hbo dates is financially better than 1 hbo date. its about money for arum.

Great news, this fight was not PPV caliber to begin with so it made no sense to do that, nobody would of paid for this fight specially after seeing Cotto getting manhandled by little Pac. Soto/Peterson UC would be amazing! I really hope it happens.
