There will be 50K for the Chambers fight.

German fans are generally pretty good about getting behind foreign fighters who come over and give impressive performances over home fighters like Chambers did against Dimitrenko.

Lamon Brewster is a good example, he went over and beat Krasniqi and then enjoyed a lot of fan support against Klitshcko and has made some late career money fighting in Europe fighting in front of those same fans.

Brian Minto.. same thing. After beating Axel Shulz he was immediately brought back and was well received by the German fans against Krasniqi.

You can't gurantee there will be 50k. That is hope until it is sold.

It's on the 20th this month which is only 10 days, and tickets are still for sell. Haye tickets were sold out quite fast from memory, but I can't get an article.

He is a big draw, but the Haye fight sold out fast.

If the tickets were sold out when it was Wladmir VS Haye, then Haye helped sell it.

It doesn't work like he didn't because he pulled out.

If Wladmir sells well VS Chambers, then that is good, but if he doesn't sell out a 50k stadium, then perhaps Haye was a big hit with the fans over there.

I will, if you admit that Haye is not the one who sold the tickets when the 50k stadium is packed in two weeks. Keep in mind too that Chagaev is also pretty popular in Germany.

That's what I've been saying since the beginning. Valuev knows this is his last big fight and that he will most likely lose, so he better make the maximum money out of it. With or without Vitali, I don't think Valuev will ever put his hand on another belt again.

Wlad is much more fun to watch than Haye.

But there's a lot of gay boys here who are infatuated with Haye, so he'd win the poll.

Yes of course he is, more interesting to wtch than most fighters who basically go through the very same moves at differing speeds and rotation. That's the pleasure of watching fighters who have individual styles, of interest, like the Klitschkos, and some others.

lets be real about this James Toney ain't what he used to be but lets get real. Vitali done went from Juan Carlos Gomez, to Kingpin Johnson, to Albert Snowball and the reason he says he wont fight Toney is because "he is passed it" ???? are you serious a "passed it" JT beats all 3 of those guys convincingly, not only that a "passed it" JT make a 10x bigger fight than any of those ....smh

You don't seem to realise that Toney is indeed past it. he has been since his second Peter fight. Besides he's about 5'9" or 5'10". What do you expect a Klitschko to do, hammer him on top of his head. And then who's going to pull that mass of blubber out of the hole in the ring floor.

It would be the most pathetic fight on record, perhaps even worse than Valuev-Haye.

I'm not sure he beats Johnson, but I'm sure he wouldn't beat Gomez, who is a very superior kind of fighter. Just because a Klitschko beat a guy does't automatically put him in the "has-been" category.

Haye is not a coward. He wants to big fights like any other champion.

His inital fight was with Wlad and Haye had everything signed, the seats were filled up to 40k I think it was. Then Sentanta went bust, where Haye was going to get paid for.

I know it isn't a great reason to pretend to be injured, but I wouldn't get in with a Klit for nothing. They are not easy to beat now, and every boxer has plenty of costs, so not getting paid would be ******. There are a lot of boxers who are famous ho are in debt.

I believe Haye would fight Wlad anytime. He was very close to it, got into their minds and faces. No one wants to waste time on promoting it and flying to each others fights etc...

The WBA thing has to be done. The Klit's offered the challenger a 3 match deal. The money was for little apparently, and if they are offering Valuev only 2.4 mil dollars, then I imagine Haye would have got a lot less.

Now that he has a belt, he is getting the Klit's attention without his trash. Vitali has already said that he wants both brothers to have all 4 main belts. The Klit's may offer him a good payday for the chance for it.

Haye has put hype into the heavyweight divison if you like ti or not. Perhaps not in the US, but both Klit's having excited the public either.

40k seats were sold for Wlad-Haye. No way 40k wuld have been sold against maskaev or whoever it was who came in.

10 punches a round was bad, I know that, you have mentioned that each time, but he did what he had to do. He didn't want to get hit and get robbed in Germany. Holyfield got robbed in Switzeland and Germany is far worse for that.

It was ugly, but Haye also had a hand injury. He throws his punhches with a lot of force.

Wlad is technically good, and I appreciate them, but I want to see an exciting fight, the eye of the tiger so to speak. I recall the Rahman fight, him beating Rahman, Rahman ready to go, yet Wlad stood back for another 2 or 3 rounds. It didn;t go well with me.

Throwing punches does make fights mroe exciting, but Wlad literally uses 3 punches only. Jab/Paw, right straight, maybe a left hook. Effective but very much a steward fighter.

t believe that the Klitschkos would have insited that Haye fight for nothing, and to say so is palpably unfair and purely speculative. I suppose you've heard of "re-negotiation" and "adjustment" Eh?? That 3 fight deal with the Klitschkos is a fighter's dream, to have a guaranteed 3 fights with such huge box office draws.

Even assuming that the 2nd and 3rd fights would only take place if the opponent either won or hada a close, competitive loss.

You need to know something about the fight business to appreciate fully such a bonanza.
