Reasons I support Wlad and dislike Haye have to do with many factors other than how exciting they are in the ring.

I have been a fan of Klitschko for nearly a decade, I know most people here can't put that into context because they've only been following boxing for 3 or 4 years and think they know everything about the sport based on a couple years of observation and boxrec research.

You may say Wlad is boring, but is he a coward like Haye? No. Did Wlad back out of a Haye fight? No. Would Wlad fight Haye in his next fight if Haye weren't a pansy? Yes. Would Haye fight Wlad next? No, certainly not.

Haye went out and got himself into a mess with the WBA and Don King so that he would have a built in excuse to avoid the Klitschkos and enjoy the endless line of hapless WBA mandatories.

Klitschko has class and is well spoken and intelligent, Haye is a loud mouthed braggart who does nothing to back up his own opinion of himself.

If Wlad were a ****y bastard who railed on about how he was the only good fighter in the division and everyone else ****** and then said he was the most exciting and then came out and threw 10 punches per round like Haye I probably wouldn't be much of a fan.

Wlad has skill that I can appreciate, Haye does not. He really has nothing but his mouth and some power, yet only his mouth is proven at Heavyweight.

Also consider that there have been several fights in Wlad's career where he threw more punches in the first 2 rounds of a fight than Haye did in 12 rounds against Valuev.

You can start your ****** poll if you want, the only people who cast a vote are going to be Brit posters who I do not take seriously anyway.

Haye is not a coward. He wants to big fights like any other champion.

His inital fight was with Wlad and Haye had everything signed, the seats were filled up to 40k I think it was. Then Sentanta went bust, where Haye was going to get paid for.

I know it isn't a great reason to pretend to be injured, but I wouldn't get in with a Klit for nothing. They are not easy to beat now, and every boxer has plenty of costs, so not getting paid would be ******. There are a lot of boxers who are famous ho are in debt.

I believe Haye would fight Wlad anytime. He was very close to it, got into their minds and faces. No one wants to waste time on promoting it and flying to each others fights etc...

The WBA thing has to be done. The Klit's offered the challenger a 3 match deal. The money was for little apparently, and if they are offering Valuev only 2.4 mil dollars, then I imagine Haye would have got a lot less.

Now that he has a belt, he is getting the Klit's attention without his trash. Vitali has already said that he wants both brothers to have all 4 main belts. The Klit's may offer him a good payday for the chance for it.

Haye has put hype into the heavyweight divison if you like ti or not. Perhaps not in the US, but both Klit's having excited the public either.

40k seats were sold for Wlad-Haye. No way 40k wuld have been sold against maskaev or whoever it was who came in.

10 punches a round was bad, I know that, you have mentioned that each time, but he did what he had to do. He didn't want to get hit and get robbed in Germany. Holyfield got robbed in Switzeland and Germany is far worse for that.

It was ugly, but Haye also had a hand injury. He throws his punhches with a lot of force.

Wlad is technically good, and I appreciate them, but I want to see an exciting fight, the eye of the tiger so to speak. I recall the Rahman fight, him beating Rahman, Rahman ready to go, yet Wlad stood back for another 2 or 3 rounds. It didn;t go well with me.

Throwing punches does make fights mroe exciting, but Wlad literally uses 3 punches only. Jab/Paw, right straight, maybe a left hook. Effective but very much a steward fighter.

It's not consistent. He has power, I already said Haye and him are similar physically, but they go about it differently.

Wlad does not fight with power for all rounds. I can't comment on his earlier days, but in recent times he likes to utilise his powerful, fast jab.

If Haye fights like he did in the Valuev fight agaisnt Ruiz or whoever, I won't enjoy his style anymore too.

I completely agree with everything you said, those are my reasons for liking the Klitschkos as well.

Even haters have to admit that the Klitschkos duck noone. Haye on the other hand...

Will be disappointed if neither of the K brothers get a chance to hammer Valuev before they all retire.
But I think Vitali is right. Valuev doesn't want to take the beating, no matter the price. I suspect he'd rather work his way back to being a mandatory for Haye than ever fight a Klitschko.

And? What is your point here? Haye is now under the control of King for 3 fights instead of control of The Klitschkos. If it was such a big deal for him then why did he get himself into the exact same situation with a crook like King?

Thanks for mentioning how quiet Haye is all of a sudden now that he has the belt. If you ask me the fact that he has shut his mouth is just more proof he does not want to fight the Klitschkos and has no intention of unifying his belt.

It wasn't "bad", it was "downright pathetic" and also "the lowest output in the history of the sport" That's not "doing what you have to do" that is fighting like a coward, there is no other way around it. Valuev has zero power and hasnt stopped any decent heavyweight yet Haye ran all night and refused to engage a slow stationary fighter.

I guess it's also worth mentioning that Wlad's jab is the best jab at heavyweight, his left hook is the best left hook and his straight right is the best right hand. Haye registers nowhere in the top10 on anything other than a right hand.

Vitali done went from Juan Carlos Gomez, to Kingpin Johnson, to Albert Snowball and the reason he says he wont fight Toney is because "he is passed it" ???? are you serious a "passed it" JT beats all 3 of those guys convincingly, not only that a "passed it" JT make a 10x bigger fight than any of those ....smh

Yes the first 2 rounds were also low in output, but I believe the fight would have been more exciting without the injury. He went in there and got the belt. Now he needs to go back to his old ways.

Wlad has world class punches in those 3, but he's a stand up european technical fighter. He is not skillfull, he just has a good technqiue for his body.

So why mention Haye was boring when he was at Cruiser then? When he throws more shots and was exciting.

The same old excuse that Haye hurt his hand in round 2. Yeah sure he hurt his hand and didn't mention even once to his corner during the fight, makes sense.

And then you say Wlad is not skillful, comedy

The sad thing is, when (if) Haye mans up and fights the Klitschkos, when he gets KTFO most of you who were picking him to beat the Klitschkos will change your tune and call him a glass chinned bum.
