Roy didnt have the legs to move in the first fight.
He was tired by round 5.
And it wasnt like Tarver was doing a Calzaghe on him, throwing 1000 punches.. they were boxing in the center of the ring.. the only time Tarver flurried on him is when Roy didnt have the energy to circle and just went back to the ropes. His legs were gone.
In the rematch he just got caught... simple as.
