Hindsight is weird. Tarver wasn't as deserving as you think in 2000. Actually, he was no different than Woods. But I suspect Roy knew the challenge he was facing.

broke two ribs, broke his jaw, tarver got his ass kicked

Did he broke both his jaw and rib, got any proof for both?

That is irrelevant though, Jones showed once again what a ducking **** he always was, he no different than Mayweather.

It was jaw, not just his rib that was broke. By a punch. And Harding put it on him over the last four rounds after building a slight lead in the first eight.

you realise tarver fought NO ONE up til that point? you realise he only had 16 fights? you realise harding was his step up and he left with two broken ribs and a broken jaw?

atleast harding had beaten griffin prior to facing tarver and was actually the top guy at LHW next to jones and michal

Jaw/rib i only found out about it after the fight as it was not told during commentary.

It was a technical Boxing match most of the way and if your trying to say it was a beat down you either aint seen the fight or you trying to paint a better picture to prop Roy up.

Yeah ive heard all this before but the fact still remains Roy demanded he fight Harding despite him being number 1 contender.

I don't need to do anything. Wtf? Harding won the fight and got the PPV match later in the year against Jones. Could've easily been Tarver. The same Tarver who got a shot at Jones when he won two belts. And then got an immediate rematch after losing the first fight. Although a lot of other fighters would've made him wait at least a year or two - or ducked the rematch altogether.
