    Fights who don't do roadwork?

James Toney doesn't do roadwork thats why Roach stopped training him. Chris Arreola doesn't do roadwork. I HEARD Felix Trinidad didn't do road work all the time, especially when he moved up in weight, I heard he would just spar a bunch of rounds to make up for it. Duran admitted he didn't do roadwork all the time.

Tito was known to be a workout freak. He may not have hit the road but he stayed on the track. Now that may have changed some with the move up to the higher weights so he could keep some pounds on but Tito was tall and gained weight in between fights so I think he probably did still run

LOL. Tito Trinidad is actually a marathon runner. He literally runs marathons all year round even when he wasn't training for a fight. Jeez people, where do you get this stuff from?

I doubt Sam Peter did any roadwork in his entire career.

Naseem hamed didnt do road work. So it shows you dont have to to reach the top. But as long as you do some aerobic exercise. Like cycling or at least something to get the heart rate up.

James Toney might have become even better if he did road work then. Maybe he spent more time on tecniques than waste time on the road.

I think long straight runs are not so good for boxing. Better then cycling, but running is not very close to how you move in the ring.

You're missing the purpose. It's for cardio to build up your stamina in fights. Why you think Mayweather and Pacquiao never seem winded? Expecially Floyd.

You are maybe right. But why not build the cardio with movements more like boxing. I played sports and long distance running did not help much for me.
