Forrest and Wright beat him with pressure and aggressive jabbing. Forrest did some holding as well, maybe a little too much actually. Cotto seemed there for the taking in the championship rounds, but Shane stalked without letting punches go. I always felt he simply waited himself into a loss in that fight more than anything.

I don't expect the handspeed of PBF to bother Shane. It's his footwork that will be the big obstacle. I'd pick Shane to win if he had good footwork of his own, but that's one aspect of his game that's truly lacking at this late stage of his career. If Shane can cut off the ring somehow and force a fight, he can beat Floyd.

What do you mean? Like a fantasy fight against a prime Whitaker or the actual fight?

I agree and Trinidad still had problems finding him really. He was just flat out a greater boxer.

It is hard to pick against a prime Whitaker. So I rather not say. I would say that Tito was capable of dropping Whitaker. Whitaker use to like to show boat and put his hands down upper body movement to avoid punches which he was just awesome at. But, I think Tito could land something while Whitaker is doing that and score a flash KD. But, I think that will be all the success Tito would have in the fight...

Sometimes I think Whitaker skills and defense is underrated. A lot people didn't appreciate his style and others just don't know how great he truly was...
