Michael Phelps does the same thing, takes in close to 13000 calories per day in training. When you do as much training as those guys you have to refuel the body.

If what they say about his training regimen is true that is.

He's the hardest working athlete in the sport.

He'd have to be in order to be #1.
Its funny your points is exactly what Steroids do for someone , speed up metabolism retains water both allowing faster recovery and more intense workouts , PEDS allow an athlete to train much harder thats what they do .

How sad is it that Paqcuiao has to work so hard just to get to the level he's at, which is mediocre.

Floyd could work much less hard and he'd still be the superior fighter because of his superior physical and mental talent.

How sad it is for fanboys of a particular fighter to not see other great fighters besides the object of their affection and trying to elevate their fighter more by trying to convince other true fans that other great fighters are only at that level because they are talentless cheating freaks.

Lol, he's not worth responding to. He's either a troll or just hopelessly ******, either way a waste of time.

Pac may or may not be taking 7000+ calories, but its not the calories that help him in the ring, its the steroids regimen.

                  FACT

So what guy on here can box for 12 rounds with the intensity that Pacquaio has?

Or what guy can work out for 4 hours a day?

A normal man needs 2500 to live on.

The more you eat or take in, the more calories are needed to digest that amount.

If a guy works out hard for 4 hours a day times 6-7 with high aerobics or strength, then you'll need a hell of a lot to food.

7000 is a lot, but to lose 1 lb of fat, that's 3500 calories. 1 pound of fat is 454g. 1g is 9 calories.

By working out, your metabolic rate is much faster thus requiring more food.

Body builders need a lot, but they are doing work that does not require as much stamina as boxing. Look at boxers, most are quite thin in comparison to a UFC fighter. Boxers needs to be fast, agile and have high work rate for 12 rounds.

How many of you have been in a 12 round fight? I havent but just training is tough enough.
