Wlad is one of the few people that actually gains weight during training camp. His walk around weight is 230.But pac has to eat that much to keep the weight on. Wlad dont need to eat to get bigger.
Couch potatoes who are obese eat 10,000 calories, so someone who trains should be able to. I dont know if its good for you, or healthy but it can be done.
\Of course it can be done.
My guess is Pac probably eats about 4500 calories a day to keep this much muscle on his frame while doing such strenuous workouts. But some people have strange metabolisms, so 7K is not completely absurd.Comment

I read an interview with Wlad's chef and he was speaking about how Wlad would consume around 5000 calories a day and would gain(Wlad comes into camp around 230 pounds, gets to around 245-250 and then trims down to around 240 at fight time) some considerable weight. When he was asked about the 7000 calorie diet of manny, he said that it is highly unlikely, and that for a guy that small they would have to wake him up a couple of times a night to give him extra thick protein shake. As someone who also knows afair share about dieting I can tell you that 7000 calories is something a competing pro bodybuilder would be getting when he is bulking.Comment

Ive been trying to go from about 250 to 205 and since Xmas Ive lost over 30lbs eating close to 5000 a day. Im in the gym quite a bit, but Im not training to go 12rds boxing either. Try working out occasionally and you'd be surprised how much you can eat and still stay fit.Comment

being that you guys don't know **** about nutrition it's not impossible to itake 7000 calories during high training and proper meals. I've had weight gainers almost 2000 calories a serving. and if your eating 4 to 5 meals and not worried about making weight plus training it's not hard. and don't Michael phelps intake over 10000 calories a day? I know during training for a fight and my weight is right I can easily intake close to 5000 calories and that's not even using weight shakesComment

Actually not, Manny is smaller, but for Wlad to keep this trim at his height and weight his body has to work doubles.
Anyway, you also have to keep in mind that these guys eat very healthy, so, it ain't like they are munching on mayo, fries and coke. So, their sources of food are more restricted in calorie intakes.Comment
