            Im a fan of both.

Jones was already "ruined" before he fought Calzaghe. He was never the same after cutting all that weight to fight Tarver, more or less he turned old over night.

Youre talking about the weight loss? Why do you think it hurt him so badly other fighters have done what Roy has done? I remember Eubank dropping from LHW to SMW in 11 days

I don't think he ruined his career, but what he did was utterly embarrass and demoralized him in a way that Jones himself probably never thought possible.

Jones was the one who would normally mock opponents and taunt them while punching them in the face repeatedly.

Joe did this with impunity against Roy and I really believe he took Roy's soul and finally forced him to come to grips w/ the fact that the "old" Roy was gone.

Calzaghe absolutely abused him in that fight.

                He ruined Roy psychologically imo.

Yeah because being laid out on the floor for 10 minutes in his second straight KO loss wasn't embarrassing enough. Definitely not as psychologically damaging as another fighter shaking his ass in front of you

Shaking his ass, popping his head through your guard, all while punching you from every conceivable angle in front of 15000 people at MSG for 12 rounds is worse than a quick knockout.

Don't let your emotions get in the way of sound judgment.
