yea, getting slapped is definitely worse....

    anyway
i think the tarver knockout ruined him, personally
Of course the Tarver bout ruined him psychologically. He's never fought the same.

      199lbs to 175lbs is not 14lbs.

at 199lbs he was pure muscle no fat or water, he was not blown up...

In order to get down to 175 he had to strip down his muscle AND dehydrate a **** ton of wate ron top of that...

You dont fully recoup that kind of 6 week strip down in 24 hours...

Just because he put on 10 pounds in a night, doesnt mean his body is back to normal now.. especially at 35 years old.

So.. really.. he got down to 175lbs.

From a 199lbs of pure muscle, to 175lbs... at 35 years old.. no 24 hour rehydration period is going suddenly restore you to 100%.

Jones was shot long before he fought Calzaghe... that was just a glorified exhibition bout at that stage of Roy's career.

The only thing that surprised me was the KD.

you don't think stopping the roids helped, Reed?

What do you make of Jones vs Hopkins? I can't believe Bore Hard signed the match, talk about meaningless.

How do you know he didnt lose 20 pounds of muscle, and dehydrate 5 pounds of water... and simply put on 10 pounds of water AND food?

Certainly you eat more the day of the fight, especially rich carbs for energy.. then you do the before the weigh in..

                      I am sure he did...

He also said he was 110% for the Calzaghe fight

110% for the Danny Green fight.

                      Hasn't lost a step.

Still the fastest cat in the game.

I mean... if he said it.. then ****...
