Can you please elaborate on how he ruined Roy Jones Jr? In what context did he do this? In what kind of state was RRJ's career that deems it ruined after Calzaghe beat him?

I don't think anyone belives this seriously. Roy has been clearly past his prime since Tarver I. He has lost much of his legwork and reflexes, you haven't seen him do his viperfast counters and evasive manoeuvres since Ruiz. He is still a good boxer with fast hands and can beat fighters below the elite level like Hanshaw and Lacy or other past prime fighters like Trinidad. He still has good power he showed that against Hanshaw, Trinidad, Calzaghe and he stopped Lacy and Sheika. What he can't do any longer is get out of the way quickly or react to fast punches in bunches, he either gets tagged or goes into his shell.

Calzaghe didn't ruin Jones. Jones took the loss like a man and moved on with his career on the same level as it was before Calzaghe. I think Jones can go on beating lesser opponents for several years if he would want to. He can fight and beat guys that dosen't have great speed or power relativly easy and still put on a show like he did against Sheika or Lacy. He has his moments but he hasen't been a top fighter since 2003.
