I don't think anyone is very excited about Chambers beating Wlad hence no networks picking it up! Plus even if Chambers did beat Wlad, now we'd just have a fat unmarketable anyways rather than a boring yet fit unmarketable heavyweight, no one really wins.

David Haye is the HW only hope right now!

Fair points and i agree in general.

But to say that them being from Eastern Europe plays no role whatsoever for 0% of Americans isn't accurate, for some it does.

The Cotto Pacquiao comparision isn't the equvalent when talking about some Americans either, for some Americans where Nationality and/or Race does play a factor Puerto Rico & Hispanic and Pinoy & Asian isn't viewed as 'out of place' or 'enemy' in the same way that Eastern Europeans are.

That's just the reality as far as i'm concerned.. For the most part you're correct but to say that it is that case for 0% of Americans isn't accurate, especially for Heavyweights.

It's not the Klitschko's, it's Wlad in particular.

That's why pretty much every fight he's had since his comeback has been on a major cable network.

Wlads last fight had a 61,000 live attendance and was watched in Germany by 13 million people.
His fight with Chambers will draw 50,000 live attendance and will get around 13 million viewers again.
Vitalis fight with Lennox Lewis was watched by a live audience of 5 million people DESPITE it being 5am in Germany.
They make huge amounts of cash, have massive viewing figures from Ukraine/Russia and Germany combined and get bigger live gates than ANY American fighter around.
The fact that Vitali can fight a guy no one has heard of (Kevin Johnson) In a foreign country (Switzerland) and sell out 17,000 tickets before they go on general sale is incredible no matter what anyone says.
Then tell your homies to stop crying and making such a deal out of it.

Someone should let Pacquiao, Hatton, and Cotto know.

What he said. Vladimir I think has half the work rate of Vitali and people wonder why it's big brother's fights getting televised on HBO now. I think HBO kicking Vladimir to the curb has a lot to do with the fact that they know you'll get a devastating KO from Vitali while you'll get a boring, methodical KO from Vladimir. HBO I don't think has the budget to fund both of the Klitchkos' fights. But Vlad seems happy about it, and so should all of you.

I agree they don't need America but Pac is not American or black, neither is Cotto and they both draw big. I don't know the real reason but I have never seen a Klitschko fight that was not on TV at all.

IMO Vitaly is not boring. Wlad on the other hand.....I personally don't think they give a **** what Americans think. They enjoy having thousands show up in attendance to put on a sparring sessions against American HW.
