yes he did but show what? it was the right move at the right time. I mean I gotta be one of the only fan of boxing who gives two ****s about a boxer quiting in the ring? Why, because I have watched enough sports (different types) to see some of the greatest athletes of all time quit in some type of situation. I have seen guys like Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, NFL teams....pretty much any great athlete at some point either literally quit or give up mentally and accept defeat by not giving it the best and just taking the loss.
Why is boxing above this? I mean I just don't get this macho-@ss mentality, conidering most cases these guys are getting beat to death and have familiies to feed. What's even worse, the guys who keep mentioning fighters quiting (like kellermen, merchant, lampley etc) are probably pu$$ies themselves and would quit alot ealier if they were in the ring.
