Yeah the same thing with Oscar, they knew the had no chance to win if they continued so what was the point in staying in there taking punch after punch? Except Morales was getting beat down worse and dropped constantly.
It was the right thing to do in these 2 cases.

No point in taking punishment like he would have at that point in Morales's career. He could not win that fight.

He was never hurt. First off he was drained he could barely even stand up. You can see right after the ten count he tries to get up and he's about to fall down but someone picks him up. He knew he was gonna go back down if he tried to get up. He was a warrior n my all time fav fighter

At least Morales never ran from Pacquiao while having a size advantage over him like Cotto did.

Actually I thought he looked fantastic compared to the usual Erik. He had a SIX pack somewhat showing. That's something you never seen on him. I think Pac's strength(he weighed like 144lbs on fight night), speed, and desire to win was too much and Erik knew it. He gave his best but in the end, it wasn't worth going through more rounds of hell that could just embarass him and hurt his pride more than anything. He did go out on his shield though, something Barrera and Oscar never did. Oscar quit like a ***** and Barrera danced his way to a loss. Morales would never have that! RESPECT!

No, but there is this chick that I work with that looks like she's Puerto Rican and she's hot too. I'm just too shy to ask her out.
