    • I think you guys just BOTH be civil about it.

      You both traded jabs... unnecessary.

Because you are both good posters, but hold strong opinions... You were both in my top 3 most underrated posters!

Tarver: is meaningful because he moved up, but Tarver as a fighter is pretty poor. He fights like a mummy got wiped out by a journey/contender (Harding) and got outboxed by another journeyman (Johnson). He is at best a B level lhw fighter

Calzaghe: This fight would of been more meaningful at smw, why did he make Calzaghe move up? Hopkins has said himself that he was willing to move down for Froch, why not Calzaghe? If Calzaghe had refused to move up who else would he have fought, a lhw? I dont think so.

Pavlik: Pavlik is a c level boxer, but due to the fact that he has power and a reach/height advantage at mw he is a A level mw fighter. Once you make him move up two divisions he loses his physical advantage and he becomes a c level lhw.

            • I'm a huge Bernard fan...but quite simply the fight is bull****...Roy is washed up...I know it, Bernard knows it along with the rest of the boxing world...

I'm looking towards this like a tune-up...I hope Roy doesn't get badly hurt...

Tarver was an amazing win but that was four years ago.

                      He lost to Calzaghe,

The jury is still out on Pavlik who holds Jermain Taylor as his only significant win.

Nevertheless, that has nothing to do with not fighting Chad Dawson. Disgraceful. The very definition of duck.
