At what moment did Pacquiao become better than Mayweather?

i don't know if pacquiao is good enough to beat floyd. floyd could be a style mismatch for pacquiao (though you could say the opposite as well)For those of you who think he will win (I'm not decided yet, I'll decide after their next fights).
Surely at 130 Mayweather would have beaten Pacquiao who lost to Morales once and drew/won SD over Marquez. At 135? Pacquiao looked like a beast but he was only fighting David Diaz so it's hard to hell. 140 and 147 Pac beat up Hatton ODLH and Cotto but if you can pin point the moment Pac became good enough to beat Floyd let me know...
His progression is so strange, haven't seen anything else like it in boxing.
i know when pacquiao's resume pased floyd's though and that was a couple years ago.Comment

are you sure you think May is the best fighter ever?
cuz I think I rate PBF higher than you rate him, if ever PAC dominates Mayweather I will rate him higher than 15 ...Comment

floyd got hit more than ever vs jlc and burton...imagine pac doing that to floyd for hes hell of a lot better than both, i just dont see floyd lasting 12 rounds....OWNING, I meant. You get the picture. Pac's offense would have gotten him KO'd, what are you saying? Floyd didn't just start using his defense man. Dude defense has always been superb. And he didn't just fight "toe-to-toe", dude BOXED. He was just more offensive, but don't get it mixed up. There were times when he did go "toe-to-toe", but at that weight he was the same smart boxer, just more offensive. Pac was outboxed by JMM and Morales. Floyd is a better boxer that BOTH of them...you do the math.
Yea, but who's fought is that? You can't put that on Floyd. Floyd took care of the business in the ring. Alot of people really thought that Chico was going to destroy Floyd. The minute I saw Chico just following him and not throwing shots after the first couple of rounds, I knew it was going to be a long night for Chico.Comment

No. But your saying that the version of Pac that fought JMM the first time murders Floyd. The biggest criticism about that version of Pac was that if you take away his left hand he would struggle. That is basically what JMM did. Keep in mind that Floyd is faster and bigger than JMM was at that weight. Also his defense would help a lot. So you saying that Pac at that stage would destroy a counter puncher that had great defense and could compete with his speed? The current version of Pac might be more suited for that fight. That version of Pac would struggle. It would be a great fight though. Now Floyd isn't 100x better than JMM but he is significantly better than him and they have similar strengths.Comment

I think Floyd is the MOST skilled fighter in history. Greatest? No way. Pac and Floyd combined arent anywhere near Ali, Armstrong and Robinson.Comment

Post JMM II there was a definate transformation. Roach has said that fight made everything click for Pac and made him open for the changes they've been working on. After JMM II Pac's right hand was complete, his movement was 10x better and he picked up some boxing skills. I believe at that point he became capable to beat Mayweather. For those of you who think he will win (I'm not decided yet, I'll decide after their next fights).

IMO with Pac's current skillset he has a 55/45 favor to beat the current Mayweather and a 60/40 to beat 130 Mayweather. Lightweight Mayweather is more dangerous but he opened himself up alot more and he still would have all the troubles that Pac brings today but leaves himself to be caught alot more than today.Comment
