I never been a big Jones fan, but even I found that fight hard to watch. I think I stopped watching after round 6, I would of preferred it if Jones went all out and got Koed then take such a one sided beating. Im still not sure what happened after round 2 its like Jones just quit.

Thanks for tha laughs and Happy New Year as well.

I have no problem with Jones beating Calzaghe in his prime but it would be closer than you think. Jones has always struggled with Southpaws and I would say that Calzaghe is the best Southpaw that Jones ever faced.

I had Calzaghe winning 10 rounds to 2.

              It was one sided.

                You make a good point.

Roy would win in his prime but he wouldn't be dominate.

Calzaghe is a awkward southpaw with alot of speed, good chin and high workrate, thats never easy to deal with especially for Roy who appeared to have trouble with lefties throughout his career.

Jones won one round. That's it.

I agree with you both, whether people like him or hate him, Calzaghe was a great fighter and would be a handful for anyone.
