Roy got destroyed get over it.. Calzaghe was clowning him dancing infront of him and leaning forward with his head almost touching roys gloves and roy couldn't do ****. altho if that was a prime roy i'm sure calzaghe would have paid for it. But Roy got destroyed that night..

Joe had his gloves down and stuck his face in Roys face all night long..even HBO were shocked at how Calzaghe was making him look foolish.
He landed some good shots especially in round six. Calzaghe was more durable then expected.

        Maybe but he didn't.

I had Roy winning the sixth on clean effective punching especially a monster uppercut in the middle of the round. Seven was an even round. Calzaghe took the four following rounds with Roy having great problems with his vision because of the big cut he got in round seven. The last round Joe did nothing and Roy did close to nothing but scored two or three good punches.
I agree. I also had the fight pretty close until the 7thround when Roy got cut(To Calzaghe's credit it was from a punch). After the 7th round it was buh bye for Jones.

Yeah the cut really obstructed Roy's vision making it possible for Calzaghe to really start his windmill of dome style with low risk. It was the beginning of the end. I think without the cut the fight could have progressed the same way as the first half.

I agree with you. The cut made it worse then in actually was. You can tell Calzaghe wasnt used showboating by how foolish he looked.
