Why on earth would anyone wanna watch Raheem?

I mean we're talking about the lightweight John Ruiz here.

He never met a clinch he didn't like until Funeka turned his lights out.

Some of you may disagree with that but thats my opinion.

As long as Pac has been a commodity in the sport Floyd and Hopkins have sat on top of that P4P list. Pac only got there when Floyd retired and off the strength of his close call with Marquez and a truly shot ODLH.

Now I'm not about to put down any Pac opponents they fought him and got beat. But to be P4P #1, shouldn't you have to fight and beat guys at the top of that list convincingly? (at least when they are near and within your weight class) I dont have a current top 10 P4P list at hand, but I bet none of the guys Pac has fought the past 2-3 years but Marquez, is on it.

Another question: If Mayweather comes back from retirement and beats P4P #2 amd #3, doesn't that automatically makes him #1? If not, then justify why Pac is #1?
Great post, I agree with you 100%. Pacquiao is fighter ofthe decade along with winni g fighter of the year 3 times. He deserved it.

Raheem has been fighting at 135 since 2005. Pacquiao didnt get up to 135 till 2008. Stop thinking like a fan & put yourself in Pac's shoes or better yet a promoters shoes.

What did you want to happen after raheem beat morales? make pac go up to 135 & fight raheem? It was inconceivable pac could fight at 135 at that point. If you were pac & his handlers, would you go up to 135 & face raheem? He had one fight at 130, & that was against morales. You want him to face raheem at 135? What should the promoters do? Make raheem drop in weight?

        What?

So if you were pac, who just got beat by morales in your first fight at 130, do you go up to fight raheem at 135 or do you try a rematch with a top 10 p4p, a star in the sport, a legitimate great fighter bound for the hall of fame?

Nobody would have taken the raheem match. Nobody. Not pac, not morales, not arum, & ESPECIALLY NOT THESE FAKE MORAL BOXING HIGH GROUND FANS accusing pac of ducking raheem.

What would beating raheem do for pac's career? How would the promotional event have gone? Would they have sold out the thomas & mack center & would the fans be treated to a great fight if it was raheem vs pacquiao instead of morales vs pac 2?

playa please. That's why we are on computers blogging & not millionaires promoting.

Fight Raheem, just like Floyd fought Baldy, same scenario, Baldy beat Judah, Floyd fought Judah then fought Baldy. Pac fought Morales again and again.

You couldn't pay me to watch Raheem again. Dude would be clinching Pac before the bell was rang the first round.

Please don't make Raheem into somebody he wasn't.

What Raheem went on to become is irrelevant, he looked good beating Morales and that's that. Usually you fight the winner not the loser on a card like that. Pac won, Morales lost, so fight the winner right? Did Oscar not get the same criticism when he basically lost to Sturm and went on to fight Hopkins?

                Disgrace wasn't it?

                  no.

floyd fought baldy after judah because he wanted none of margarito. add the fact that baldy, judah, & fraudy are IN THE SAME DIVISION that makes sense.

Like i said before, raheem has been at 135 since 2005. Pac's first fight at 135 was june 2008. How is that the same as floyd fighting fighters in his own division?

Stop trying to twist the truth to fit your agenda.

He did but I don't know anyone that liked Raheem.
