Those roles require two different mind frames to conduct your
dealings in any industry successfully. I know this because I
deal with different ventures. Money Mayweather is just an
identity for him to get noticed and have people talk about him
and he likes the role of the bad guy because when he first
began his pro career he tried everything to get the acceptance
of the fans and his peers and it never was enough so he is now
doing him. In the ring he is very professional and respectful to his
opponents. The business is very competitve and you have to
fight your way to the top and be on point at all times because
people don't try to look out for you only mainly for themselves.
Perfect example is Miguel Cotto. He was riding high and the
minute he loss then all of a sudden he is a side of beef. I always
believed that Mosley should have been where Floyd is because
Mosley was something special when he first hit the seen but
the fact he didn't conduct his business properly had him
chasing Floyd and Pac for a big fight when in actuality he
paved the way for them.

you are the one seeing colors here.
TO is an *******, he whines and cries like a baby and throws his teammates under the bus. floyd is an *******, he is ****y, racist and a bigmouth who doesnt respect the sport.
zab is a bit of a troublemaker but i love his swag. has nothing to do with color.
btw, what skills does TO have? he had more drops than receptions this year and is irrelevant in the nfl anymore.

floyd and manny are very talented but greatness is decided in the ring and they have both been very protected especially in the later parts of their careers.
floyd not taking on the best, and manny just taking on oponents who fit his style. back in the day that wouldnt work, so you cant compare floyd and manny to the all time greats nor call them all time greats until they step up and prove themselfs.
shane has been doing that his whole career, always wanted to fight the best and never avoided someone bcuz of their style. as far as legacy goes floyd and manny really dont deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as shane.

Yeah, I can’t see it either. But take a little trip further up the mountain in California to Big Bear, and that’s precisely what Shane Mosley does when he’s not preparing for a fight. No, not pickup basketball (though he does do that too) – he fights.
“I’m always in the gym,” said Mosley. “Amateurs or pros, I get in there with them, and its work. Even when I wasn’t supposed to be in the gym, they’d call me or see me walking down the street. ‘Hey Shane, my guy needs some sparring. Can you work with him for a couple days?’ What time you want to go? ‘Today, about two.’ Let’s go. And I get in there and spar with the guy, no problem. It’s like playing basketball to me, getting in the ring and boxing.”
Yeah, you read right. All it takes for Shane Mosley, three-division world champion and future Hall of Famer, to spar with somebody is a simple request. That must be some shock for a kid in the amateurs or a budding pro to be in the ring with one of the sport’s true superstars. [Click Here To Read More]

Mosley couldn't hurt Cotto nor did he ever have him in trouble. You call Margarito a cheat but Mosely himself is an admitted drug cheat too. Mosley is not the man because he never beat Cotto, it doesn't work that way. Bernard Hopkins beat Pavlik who beat Jermain Taylor twice but Hopkins still never beat Taylor. Doesn't matter if you beat the man who beat you, you didn't beat the man yourself.
