I got Floyd by a 5 mile run around the ring. Most likely a SD in his favor again because we all know he can't hang with true elite fighters at his weight.

what part of jersey are you from, he can't hang with elite fighers, i dont see pacquiao fighting elite fighters either. You can make the same argument for both fighters, please dont make it seem like its just mayweather, every fighter that pacquiao has beaten in his last 3 fights, either lost there prior fight, or was shot before pacquaio fought them. Cotto, had a war with Clottey, and got hit with cement blocks against margacheato. Hatton was knocked out against floyd, and even Roach said that while training (de la hoya) that Oscar couldnt pull the trigger. These are the last 3 fighters that Pac-Man fought.

I dont understand some people. If mayweather refused the blood test, like pacquaio did, you guys would be killing him, **** any article with his name draws like 50 pages of comments. Pacquaio never wanted to fight mayweather (translate that) Bob Arum never really intended for Pac-man to fight mayweather. They had to go through the motions because this is the fight fans want to see. Mayweather excepted all of there terms and had his portion of the contract signed. Pacquiao didnt. For for all intents and purposes was never going too. Thats why they put bull**** in their contract like a 10million dollar per pound every pound he's overweight because they never expected Mayweather to except such a ridiculous term. But he did.

Up until negotioations we never heard a peep from pac man himself, he always hid behind Freddie Roach and Bob Arum. Not to mention, anybody remember what pac man's camp said when it was reported that Team Mayweather wanted to have Olympic style drug testing. They changed there story so many times, its hard to believe anything they say. 1st They were all for the olympic style drug testing. Then it was they were ok with it, but they wanted to know when a cut-off date would be, (basically saying that there all for drug testing, just not the random variety). After that it was Pacquiao is afraid of needles, then Pacquiao doesnt feel comfortable drawing blood to close to fight night.

Since random blood testing was the only issue holding the fight up they have a mediator listen in on both sides trying to hammer out a deal. After those negotiations failed, Bob arum stated that his side proposed a 24 day cut -off period, that even Mayweather's advisors said was ok, but mayweather refused. Come to findout, mayweather's team countered his proposal by offering a 14 day cut off, which Bob never menitoned was brought up. Richard Schaeffer blasted Bob as a liar, as well as team Mayweather, Team Mayweather even went as far to suggest that if bob arum was sleeping when his team made that counter offer (and maybe didnt hear it) that the offer still stands and he rejeceted it. **** even the mediator himself put out a report that Team Pacquaio was lying about the extent of those negotiations.
So how was Mayweather afraid of Pacquaio, by asking for the drug testing, **** if he never intended on taking it then why put up all these bull**** obstacles around it to use as a smokescreen that his fighter wasnt going to take random blood test regardless.

Agreed. People are ignorant and fail to interpret the complexities of boxing. Manny fought a prime Marquez, at a much lower weight class. Manny also HURT Marquez, whereas Mayweather's success was more of a flash knockdown. This is not to say that Mayweather couldn't have finished Marquez, as had he pulled the trigger, I'm sure the fight would have been stopped. Now, if Manny fought Marquez in the present day, the fight would be a whole different animal. Manny is boxing clever, hitting harder and comfortable at welter, whereas Marquez is on the slippery slope down to retirement, and far too small to compete at welter.

What you saying is true, but the same goes to pacquaio too. Mayweather fought a primed De La Hoya, at his true fighting weight. And he fought a primed Ricky Hatton too, how come people over look this when there giving manny credit for feats and accomplishments that mayweather already acheived.

Am I the only one that finds it odd the people that say they hate Floyd the most are the first ones to post in threads about him? How does that correlate?

imo mosley was in the best welterweight fight of the 2000 hoya mosley one was a great fight with give and take action for all 12 rounds other then margacheato cotto there is nuttin that compares only reason why I did not put margas cotto is the hand wraps can anyone tell me another welterweight fight that can compare?

This ''running'' that you cared to highlight, not only refers to his unwillingness to engage inside the ring, but more importantly, his running outside of the ring. Floyd has tailored his career and protected his 'O' for far too long. I give him the props for taking this fight, but it's about fu**ing time, too.

everyone is always with this ducking stuff. floyd ducked who? margarito?? come on, margs could have never hoped to beat any fighter on floyd's level and im almost certain arum came out some time ago and said the reason floyd didnt fight the guy was because arum wouldnt guarantee him more money than he would have gotten from the baldomir fight. who else, cotto? mayweather asked to fight him too. mosely? not wasting my time with that one. and finally pac. we all know it was both side's ******ity that made that fight not happen. and as far as him ducking, i cant see it, why duck pac and then fight mosely? mosely is the more dangerous fight and theres less money involved. makes no sense.

i dont think floyd duck's fights...i think he fights the ppl who make him the most money. is he shallow? yes. is he a punk? no...now i dont agree with his money grubbing personality but srsly where would boxing have been without a heel like him for the last 5 or 6 yrs???manny is a great fighter but he has no personality...who else is out there to attract mainstream sports fans?? loev him or hate him, the guy is goof for boxing

And it all honesty if you take a look back i think Floyd has a problem with bob arum, its not a coincidence that all these fighters he supposedly ducked are bob arum fighters.
