      I am a tall Mexican at 6 ft 2 inches, I think I am actually 6-3

Anyways when I go to concerts and **** in Mexico I feel weird, I am the tallest one in the crowd most of the time, but this is not always the case. This January there were like 3 brothers around 6-6 and they were athletic, they were probably bball players or something. But yeah, most Mexicans are not built to be heavyweights, at least not the boxers.

The next big name in mexican boxing (besides Alvarez which is already a big name) is definately going to be Marco Antonio Periban, and he fights at supermiddleweight. This guy is going to be huge... The next "Maravilla" Martinez-like sensation.

Most big North Americans find other sports to play, like hockey and football.

it's just funny how you never hear of any Mexican Heavyweights,or even anything from Middleweight to Heavyweight on a world stage, just think it's remarkable if not as it's a country so rich in boxing history like it's a big part of life for Mexicans for it's always a country i associate boxing with probably more than any other.

anyone enlighten me on this subject?
Jack Dempsey was afraid to fight black boxers when he was champion.
