All the heavier weight class mexican fighters never get anywhere, Arreola has a chance but hes fat, Pavlik has been exicuting contending Mexican middleweights, Andrade didnt make it happen, etc. There are big people in Mexico but they dont join boxing as much as the smaller ones do.

I am hoping super middleweight up and comer Marco Antonio Periban can make some noise, unlike many Mexican fighters, he has a solid amateur background.

Mexicans just aren't built big enough to be heavy weight contenders. I'm the second tallest person in my ENTIRE family. I'm talking about extended etc. I'm 5'10 about 200lbs.

Well it all depends really, all kinds of nationalities can have shorter families. I am 5'9 and I constantly see my self looking up at some Mexicans. I have uncles who are 5'10, 5'11, cousins who are 6'2, 6', 5'11' 5'10. Then my cousin's cousin is a tall dude too at 6'1 and he lives in Mexico. Just the other day we had visitors at my house from my parents home town in Mexico and the man is tall, he must have been a solid 6'1 and I remember his son who did not come is tall as well. Just all depends.

chillax, imo chris arreola will become a champion, might be a paper champion but still.. he has enough skills to do it, i dont like him anymore because he lacks dedication...
