i wouldnt say marquez is ducking. they werent really in the same division and neither had a belt the other wanted. but i will say that this is a fight marquez and beristain definitely think they'd lose. malignaggi is to boxing what LA is to the NFL. hes just used at a threat to leverage other fights just like teams tells their cities "if we don't get what we want, we can always go to LA". but i think khan-malignaggi would be a decent fight. puncher vs boxer. i think paulies speed would give khan some fits but i think even khan can take paulies punches and not get hurt.

And you notice of how Schaffer doesn't even mention Bradley or Alexander in this statement. He's shook when it comes to putting his fighters in with those guys. This is why Alexander being on HBO is going to be a big plus for him because you would think HBO would be forced to lay their foot down on this corrupt ass company. Bradley needs to try to convince Shaw to let him fight on HBO too. If Dawson can, then why can't Bradley?

JMM is not only small at 140, and old at almost 40, he also got his ass beat in his last fight. I mean, at least fight a guy who won his last fight. This is exploitation plain and simple. The only way JMM makes any money is to fight younger, bigger fighters, while it's quite the opposite for Khan. Welcome to America.

I wish Malinaggi would get out of the picture. But if fighters view him as a weak link I don't blame him for taking the paydays to fight them that are offered by HBO.
