im glad its off marquez should stay at lightweight a fight with Katsadis, David Diaz, Soto or Ali Funeka would be a good next step for marquez or even Valero. If juan stays at lightweight i can see him having a few more fights. he would have been to small for 140 Plus its packed with talent at the mo

No it wasn't. Golden Boy co-promoted the whole Mayweather comeback.

They used JMM to try and **** Packy.

Nobody was scared of Khan, its just a bad fight for a guy who's almost 40.

JMM needs to fight Hatton and retire.

JuanMM is the real deal !! Khan needs to fight a true LWW first. Like Junior Witter,Kendall Holt or Lamont Peterson

JMM vs Valero would be awesome. GBP has to start looking at fighters with other promoters. I think that is a great fight for JMM where he has an agressive come forward fighter and he himself is a counterpuncher. I agree khan vs judah could be a pretty good fight or they should try to get it done with maidana.

I don't know if Nacho has JMM's best interests at heart, but one thing I will say that if I put myself in his shoes I can actually see where he is coming from. If you listened to Richard Schaeffer, he was already talking about Khan's immediate future after this fight and Zab Judah's name was brought up for him. So that tells you right there that JMM had to KO him to beat him.

However, if JMM turned this fight down to fight a meaningless opponent like Kendall Holt for example, he would deserve to get ripped for it based on his ******ity because I know he was getting a good payday to fight Khan. You can't say this was a smart move on JMM's part. But if he turned this fight down to go after even tougher opponents like Bradley, Valero, Alexaner, or Funeka I definitely couldn't rip him for it because that is giving us hardcores what we want by fighting the best. I'm however thinking that he is either going to go inactive or possibly even fight Hatton or even Zab Judah if Khan doesn't get to him first.

I also don't think Khan could've beaten JMM. Too chinny, too flawed, and not experienced enough. So JMM has turned down a winnable fight with a fourth title pretty much. Something that he should eventually go for before he bows out regardless of who it's against.
