I thought the Khan Marquez fight may well have been a cynical ploy to facilitate Golden Boy to coerce Maidana into backing off his mandatory obligations with Marquez giving Khan credibility and sanctuary from being a ducker which he clearly is. I don't think there was ever any real intent for the Khan Marquez fight to go ahead. See this post The gullible idiots will blame Marquez for this when it looks like a scam/Khon from the get go.

Khan is a true warrior and i have jsut lost a whole lot of respect for JMM

khan has ducked every and ANY fighter known to man. he is a crap over hyped fighter. JMM trainer talks TRASH to get the promotion flowing and khan screams he wants out and he wants to pursue other opponents (perfect way to get out) what a crap fighter khan is.
