But Floyd's had plenty of opportunities to make Welterweight his best weight. He could have fought Cotto/Williams/Mosley/Margarito when he fought Hatton. Or his comeback last year he could have fought Cotto (wasn't tied up with Pacquiao when Mayweather announced his return last May)/Mosley/Berto/Williams instead of Marquez.

Why would he fight those guys over making 20 Million vs. Hatton? Hatton vs. Floyd was THEE biggest fight in the sport.Originally posted by The Chosen View PostBut Floyd's had plenty of opportunities to make Welterweight his best weight. Why would he fight Cotto after a 21 Month layoff?

Don't take the thread starter seriously. It makes you look bad. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, and you going all out in a thread like this is just a waste of your time.Originally posted by Horus View PostSo basically the thread starter is saying that for 1 year of cotto's career he would have beaten Mayweather?
The thread starter saying "Prime Cotto>Mayweather" shows his agenda.
I came in here trying to make a reasonable debate out of what's essentially a waste of a thread.
Don't start copy and pasting page long posts from other threads to try and prove the thread starter wrong. It's like picking on a ******ed kid.

Exactly. If it was such an easy win, then why he ***** out? Floyd would have made a killing with this fight!! Cotto fought anyone put in front of him and he would have taken the Floyd fight no problem!! Mayweather was a ***** and said Cotto was not a "draw"Originally posted by Ch@mpBox@PR View PostWe will never know, because when it was time to fight, floyd pussied out into retirement
