All my opinions are based off a "fan of boxing" point of view, rather than a promoter's point of view. I don't care about the money, it's none of my business, I want the best fights, the most competitive in terms of ability and legacy. So when I say "Floyd should have fought x" it's based off the fact that in my opinion that is a better fight in boxing terms, not financial or promotional. I don't see why anyone who isn't a boxer or promoter would have an outlook on the sport which is based of financial aspects rather than boxing aspects. Money in boxing is the fan's worst enemy.

If Floyd wants to take bigger money fights then fair enough, but pretending they add to his legacy is what rocks a lot of people's boats.
WW doesn't equal a whole career

Floyd's legacy is just fine as a Top 50 fighter OAT

Theres room to expand but his career isn't just all money no legacy

You have to take that into account before you say he ducked somebody.

Because thats not true. I want to see Floyd fight Williams. Do you think that **** will ever happen??? **** No.

So asking why he didnt fight Cotto after a 212 Month is layoff is a waste of time. He was off 21 Months.

YOU know why he fought Hatton. The whole boxing word wanted to see that fight.

Floyd has 40 fights...ONLY 6 of them have been at WW or higher.

Where were you When Cotto fought Gomez and Jennings?

Or when Marg fought Golden Johnson?

but in 2006/2007 he would have beat Mayweather @147lbs?

        FUUUCKKK NO!!!
MAYWEATHER said that cotto was too green for him @140

he later said that he wasn't a draw, and went on to fight much smaller draws that cotto (except DLH at that time)

he later said that cotto was just from an island, but he later fought a much smaller draw in marquez because... he has a whole country behind him!

        a whole country without PPV

cotto might've never beaten floyd at 147, but he was BY FAR his biggest threat

        bigger than baldomir

        bigger than judah

        bigger than de la hoya

        bigger than WW hatton

        bigger than WW marquez

it's inexcusable for him NOT to have made that fight. oh i forgot... he doesn't have mexico behind him

in 2007 Cotto's chances to beat Floyd was at their greatest.....on a November night in MSG back in 2007, Cotto fought Sugar Shane.....I honestly think that THAT Cotto would've beat Floyd on THAT night....and THAT'S real talk......after Cotto beat Shane he fought Gomez and we all saw a different Cotto that night.....a ****y dude who THOUGHT he was a slick boxer......he strayed away from being a beast and fought Marg the SAME way, like he was a slick boxer ......people say Marg ruined him, I say his success did.......success SUCKS!! ......thats my theory on the GREAT Miguel Cotto!!!

no, WW equals his last 4+ years in boxing

his biggest achievement "lately" was a SD against ODLH

No, and Cotto would have lost. That's why many are frustrated with PBF for not facing him.

Why isnt he in his prime now?? because he lost?? you guys are dumbas* people... Cotto is a younger fighter, started a lot later then floyd...

so by you saying "prime cotto" you are implying that Floyd, at 32 and went pro 5 years before cotto, is better now....

come on you floyd haters need to start reading what you type before you post it...smart as*

Man Cotto has been knocked down by guys with less skill than Mayweather....

Cotto is NOT an easy Target to hit
